JTD is probably the best of the bunch so holds its value a bit better. Just saw a silver 3 door at Telford Fiat TJVickers for £4,999, cant recall the year sorry.

but ive seen 02 and 03 models listed for around 41/2 k which to me is ridicilous as many a vag of the seem age could be bought for this with a plentiful saving, i thought in and around the 2k mark would be reasonable for an 02?

It's a 55 plate with 4 owners and 33,000 miles. I'm after a Stilo but I wouldnt touch this one. For it to change hands that often with such little mileage for a diesel, its gotta be a bad-un.

That sounds about right for trade prices £2k for an 02 plate, obviously dependant on low mileage and general condition.

Mine is worth naff all to anyone but me as it's high mileage and a bit tatty round the edges now. I reckon trade in i'd struggle to get £750 if i'm honest

£4.5k for an 02/03 is madness.

I would think like wise... had a Seat Malaga 1.5 GLX once, bought @ 3 years old and 5 previous owners, was a Seat UK Demo to begin with and a whole host of expensive hassle for me! :bang:

Nearly went mad end Nov thought about trading our JTD for a Ceed SW, which was a good deal at 10K for a 5 month old car with 1.7K up. Only offered 1.6K p/x for the JTD and decided with the monthlies on the Ceed @ 238 quid odd it wasn't worth the money just for a warranty, treated JTD to Tescos Standard warranty @ 259 for the year instead and nearside rear wheel bearing already successfully claimed for in Jan (about 150 quids worth @ Fiat)

Over £4000 for an 02 model is taking the mickey - My 54 plate 3 door with 50k miles, leather & one owner was £3950 in September last year & the ones ive seen on AutoTrader since, have been pretty consistent with this.

If you havnt already, you may have to cast your search over the whole country to find the right one, but there seems to be a few JTD's on AutoTrader for under £4000 so i dunno where you were looking!

Make sure you post a Wanted in Classifieds.

You're in the same position as anyone else wanting a JTD and it's a mistake to expect anyone on here to sell you theirs for under the market rate (that's assuming they'd even want to )
