Anyone running NOS?

How much does NOS knock off of your 0-60 times as I'm considering fitting it to my HGT.

Can anyone recommend any decent suppliers for the kit.

I wouldnt have thought it would knock much off 0-60 as i 'believe' it shouldnt be used in very low gears, and also at low revs.

but from 50-140+ it should be fantastic

i think you should forget nos for helping 0-60 as it's a burst of power so it would just make you wheel spin and possibly over rev the engine. I think Ribzz has a controller for his nos which means he can control various things allowing it to be used at lower speeds. I'm sure he can tell you a lot more then i can, put an FAO for him!

Any of these idiots will fit you a NOS kit, no doubt they will all supercharge and turbo it too. Free of charge, just for teh love of their 1.2 BTS's.

Its depends what shot u want to run on your HGT m8.

I'd say go for 75 if you run a controller you could use it in every gear then. i would think it woud take at least 2 secs of your 0-60

Nitrous is used at full throttle and u shouldnt use it below 3000 rpm. As soon as you'r moving though you can use it in every gear. if you're booting it then the revs wont drop below 3000rpm if you're with me

How long would a bottle of Nitrous last using a controller and using every gear?
I take it by 75 you mean a 75Bhp kit?
How do they work out that it will add 75Bhp? Surely it would be different for each car it was fitted to, or do they tailor a 75 kit for each car?

The BHP that the nitrous kits produce is dependent on the jets that you use.

for example, I have 25, 55 and 75bhp jets on my Holley (NOS) nitrous kit. I simply change the jet size to adjust how much nitrous goes in to the engine
