Anyone near Cambridge???

Any Bravo owners living in/near cambridge? there seems to be a massive shortage of us around these parts.

Im just wondering if any of you have had your cambelt done? where? how much it cost? and what the service was like?

Any help would be most appreciated

I've just left my HGT over this weekend for a cambelt change.
It's gone to PowerAlfa in Daventry (Jct 15 off M1)

The price will be £705. inc cambelt, aux belts, tensioner, lower tensioner, idler pulley and the water pump.

Their customer service is good, the guy you want to speak to is called John.

I'm picking the car up on Monday lunchtime so i'll let you know how good a job they do.

I live in hertfordshire...and will have my 1.2sx80 until next saturday when the TYPE-R arrives!! hehe cant wait!! i love the bravo..looks beautiful!! i live about 20 miles from cambridge so not far at all. I just graduated from uni yesterday (Anglia University in Cambridge) so my Bravo has been parked right near Cambridge Car audio off east Road on the newmarket roundabout for the best part of two years!! had some TSW Imolas on until recently but sold them.. it was a sassi grey colour W reg????seen it around at all???

i have just got my cam belt changed from halfords (AA Services) and it cost me a total of 305 £ including a full service. For my fiat bravo 1996 1.8 hlx. Good idea to try your local halfords

Re: cam belt

Just an update,

Cambelt service was done over the weekend, £705. this included all belts and tensioners.
Also included fully synthetic oil and filter change along with a brake fluid change I asked for.
All seems ok.

Coventry is only 1 hour 15 mins from St Albans (well Tewin to be precise!), and hour and 25 mins from Duxford, an hour to Bedford itself. I know - these are journeys I do and they are very straightforward - M1 M45(the fastest motorway in the UK!), and there is a meet this Saturday. I appreciate it is always the return thats a pain.

Sweenpole, if you set a place and date let me know and I will advertise it on the Bravo Guide and let people know.
