anyone got any Wii problems?

Mine keeps stopping what its doing and giving

"the wii system memory is damaged refer to wii operations for help and trouble shooting"

the book says see the wii website, the website doesnt have this message

anyone had this, know what causes it, what solves it?

had it unplugged for an hour to see if it stops doing it

well unplugging it didnt work

spoke to nintendo who told me to format after backing up my saves.

bugger all saved on it anyway so just formatted it and everything seems ok...for now

I wonder what did it?

formatting is usually what you'd do on any device thats giving a message like that (obviously backing up first )

Could have been a chunk of corrupt memory. Yeah wiping it would normally cure it.
