anyone got a marea window switch?

Hey guys and gals,

My 4 way window switch has decided to drop the drivers button inside the switch and will only work if I wiggle it for a few mins.

Anyone got a spare lying around they want rid of?

are Bravo and Marea weekend switches the same?

I mailed them and it was removed from a Brava, it's to go in my Marea weekend

You can replace individual switches Darren. You don't need change the whole lot. I would remove the switch and see if it doesn't need reseating. Chances are you've pushed it too hard. If the button on the switch has broken somewhere, i'm sure we can sort you out with another. I know i have a few window switches knocking about.

cool, I will have a look later.
it still works but the switch has gone 'loose' and i need to wiggle and pull it on an angle to make the window go up, it still goes down fine.

I will take it off when I get home

ok, i took it apart and the actual switch part under the button is knackered.

I have managed to swap it and cut a bit of plastic to have a working drivers window.

Would anyone have the 'white' switch for a marea/brava? the plastic electrical connectors on the back are slightly different on each one, I could possibly modify another switch to fit though.

Darren, all switches have all the pins under them, the difference is on the car connector. One thing to look out for is the shape of the upper part of the switch. There are shorter (nearer) versions and longer versions, ad least here outside UK.

ah,

I moved the rear-left switch into the front-right (drivers) position and the only difference was the connector on the car, there are little squares of plastic to stop you plugging switches into the wrong connector.
They are coloured on the back- white, black, green and brown.

I switched the white (broken) for the brown one. had to cut a bit of plastic to fit it though.

anyone got a switch they don't mind parting with?
