Have any of you bought and tried one of these or similar. Did it work? Did it find the correct fault? Did it reset the correct codes etc?

Think it would be a great investment if worked, would save a packet if we could tell the dealers exactly what the problem was.

So anyone with experience of these diagnostics or similar please shout.

Hey it doesn't have to be this particular model, I just wanted feedback as to whether any of you do use a diagnostic tool that the general public could buy.

If so, did you find that it helped. If so what one do you use, where from and how much?
