Saw this in one scottish paper...
The Scottish Executive have banned the use of speed cameras in anywhere that is NOT an accident blackspot. This means that at least a third of the cameras will go. To have a camera an area MUST have suffered 4 collisions resulting in death or serious injury AND 8 collisions involving personal injury in the last 3 years.
Seems they have taken this move due to a lack of public confidence oin the sighting of cameras.
So, not all politicians are daft then!!
