Hi all
My flatmate was after some cheap transport and I found this little beast which we got for £220 with an MOT till Oct. It had been off the road in a back yard for a few months but a good clean up and it looks pretty good.
I got to drive it back home and it brought back so many memories of my uno, I am jealous, I had forgotton what great cars they are.
This is a 92 model with no rust, even on the door bottoms, with 86K on the clock. It's the basic 4 speed carb FIRE. It was a bit unhappy when we first started it, but a few good runs and it seems to have a new lease of life. Engine has an occasional missfire at idle but pulls cleanly when you put your foor down. I checked out the vacuum advance module and this is completely shot, so hopefully a new one will sort out the rough running.
Touch wood this should turn out to be a good little motor for the money.
