Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself...my name's BrizzlePanda. I'll let you guess where I live and what car I drive!
Actually, I say drive. I bought on Ebay, for the sum £80, an E-reg Panda 4x4. Ok, I might not have been entirely sober when I put in a bid, and I might have not appreciated precisely how important wheels and correctly inflated tyres are when trying to get my purchase home, but she's mine. Have always had a soft-spot for the Panda 4x4s - probably because part of my childhood was spent in Switzerland (Swiss Mother), where they were used for many years as the workhorses of the Swiss Post Office.
I'll post a proper thread in the "Panda Classic" when I get home this eve, with pics.
When I went to collect her, my mate took one look and laughed. "What's wrong with it?" I asked. "The other list's shorter" He responded. "What other list?" "What's right with it." Although he's into VWs, and therefore his judgment is cloudy to begin with, I will at least concede that there ain't one straight panel on it. I'm therefore inclined to turn her into a pick-up truck, thus chopping out the rear damage. This may sound like an anathema to some of you, but hey, I can take it
Don't worry though, I won't just wield the angle-grinder willy-nilly, à la Clarkson. I will properly re-inforce the old girl before I cut her lid off!
All advice gratefully recieved...
