Hi folks - just joined you. I have just bought a Panda 1.1, 5 years old, and 18000 on the clock!

Already love it to pieces, except for one small thing. I want to use a sat-nav, but can't find a cigarette lighter anywhere! (Don't want to smoke, you understand, just power the sat-nav!) Am I missing something, or do I need an expensive upgrade to my dear litle car, please?

What what I can see by doing a quick search, your variety of panda doesn't include one, although it does include the wiring of where one would be. Fiat should be able to fit one, for a fee ofcourse. Unless you are technical and can source one and fit it yourself.

Thankyou Wolf - I was afraid of that! And no, I amnot in the least "technikackal" about cars, although I DO know about computers!
I know you are going to say "how long is a piece of string?" , but to you have any idea of what the cost is likely to be, if only approximately?

From what I was reading on the Fiat forum, the guy in question was quoted £100. Which seems a bit ridiculous for such a small thing. Phone around some garages, and see what their prices are.

I'm sure you can use some of your womanly charm to get the price down a bit though
