hi all

I'm about to install a sub & amp in my Bravo in the coming days.

can someone give some good tips how to pass the wires from the engine bay to the inside, under the door pillars, and back to the boot?

did my research and seems that there is a hole in the firewall near the passengers footwell. Also I think I need to take off the rear seats, and "rear door" trims too, just to pass the wires from the door sills to the back?

There is a rubber gromet in the passenger footwell but if you have a large engine size it's a pain in the a@*e to get to the battery terminal, if not it should be simple.

As for running the wires you shouldn't need to take anything off, I just simply pushed the wires underneath the sills, behind the seatbelt anchor and if you pull the back seats up you should be a le to hide them pretty easily.

My only problem is closing the boot cause my sub box is too damn big!

as above, dead easy..Just losen the plastic sill protectors and hide wires under them and under the rera seats :)

my bravo is 1.9td version and engine bay is quite packed.

any other alternatives to go from the battery to the inside?

That's pretty much the only way without drilling through the firewall. I found it easier to go from inside the car into the engine bay rather than from the engine bay into the car. Of course this way means you have to either squeeze the fuse through the gromet or cut it off and reattach after.

The hardest part is getting hold of the wire once it is through, should come out just by the brake lines of the passenger front wheel.

Good luck with it though!

mine is right in the right corner near the scuttle panel, comes thru near the ecu.

As said, there is a gromet in the passenger footwell, where the steering column would go if it were LHD, it's about 1inch thick and easy to drill through, go for that, it's nice and easy to do and can be hidden behind the carpets easy. as for the rest of the cabling, i took the car apart and buried the cables inside whatever i could, the under the back seats and into the boot, took about half a day to get it finished and setup and tidy. Good luck chap!

i'd rather spend a whole day and get it nice and tidy than 2min job and keep wires exposed.

mike could you point that out on a picture please? if you have time obviously.

regarding the door sills .. I tried to get them off w/o success at first attempt. i've taken a quick look and seems like I have to slide them towards the front of the car to get them off without breaking anything?

thank you all :)
