Hi all
Thinking of amping my 6x9's in the parcel shelf, been looking at the SPLX range.
Not neccessarily after great improvements in sound but want to take it a stage further now.
Budget of around £50 on an amp, plus extra for the wiring kit if needed.
Any advice on these or any others I should be looking at for the price..?
By the way anyone know if the appropriate wiring kit comes with the amp if bought brand new/boxed..??
Cheers
Peter.

Please avoid the SPLx stuff! I had one once. It was the 4ch 1000watt version. It weent back after 1 month. Sound quality was awful, amp overheated and cut out after 20 mins then kept cutting out every 2 mins after that.

Avoid like the plague! JBL GTO series amps are very cheap at the moment. Supposedly mine (GTO6000) has been seen for £80 on the net. A HUUUUGE improvement on the SPLX

i got splx amp running my 6x9's sounds ok to me. just need to put them in the car now

Really, KEEP AWAY FROM SPLX!

Their speakers are worse than the stock ones in your bravo and their amps are incapable of outputting anything worthwhile. They always overheat.

Thought as much.had a mate with the overheat experience which prompted my question.
Any others available for the price though.?
Cheers
Peter
