Amp earthing point Grande Punto

Hi,

Just got my new car, a 1.9 grande punto sporting. Im installing a small sub into the boot with the amp under the passengers seat. So far ive run the power wire through and connect up rca's to the standard headunit. Are there any good existing places to earth an amp in the general area around the seat? Id rather not drill and make my own since I can see that going horrible wrong knowing me lol

You could earth it off the passenger seat belt mount. I'd did this for my grande punto, but i used the rear seat belt mounts as my amp is in the back.

Does the Grande have a Rear Light Cluster Earthing point In the boot somewhere?

One on the mk2 punto's, if you could join that wire you'd be well in there

Yes it does, but the chap wants to mount it under the passenger seat. So the most obvious place would be the passenger seatbelt mount.

I tried the seatbelt points last night but couldnt find a single tool big enough to use in the bolts lol. Im going to pop it down to my local garage and sweet talk them into taking it off for me lol

Wooo! Borrowed the tools from the garage and got the bolt off, connected the cable, put the fuse back in and it all works!!
