can anyone explain to me the best way to set up my sub and amp once ive got them.

i want to spend around £150. so i was thinking of getting a sub that was 800watts and a amp to match it.

but do i need an amp that has the same RMS output as the sub or can i get a lower watt amp and bridge two chanels on the amp.

how does bridgeing on amp work??

ok thanks.
as i want some room left in my boot after putting an amp and sub in. i was thinking about getting a sub box with a built in amp.

which one would be the best to get for around £150.

it was just going to have the bock in the boot. but i have been reading about what other people have been saying about making falls floors in the boot. my mate has just done one for him self. looks great and it would solve my problem of fixing the amp and box in the boot so they didnt move about.

unless you have any other surgestions on how to secure the amp and box in the boot.

audio66.com has a vibe 10" sub and amp combo and 12" for £200 there quite good, some audio retailers do deals like a 12" fusion sub and amp with vgood wiring kit for £200 if u want a built in amp go for vibe.

If you dont want to build a false floor ( due to tyre access) underneath, just slap a peice of wood under your carpet wide enough for the amp to screw down on, that what ive done, no problems
