Why did everyone slag off his car soo much?

When these two vehicles(the 2 Alan's) are clearly alot more modified?

Is it simply that Amit put himself up on a platform when he started that post with ppl like doug and nigel waiting to shoot him down?

or is it more sinister as amit would like to think??

I think ALL 3 CARS ARE SMASHING!!

Alans silver car is ace...I like it cause of the colour and also because I have the same one, but unmodified...in my opinion it is modded, but more subtle than the light blue one. The blue one to me screams "boy racer", and yes I am an old fart, where as allans looks a little like a cross between a brva and a bmw

Sorry mate, you got it wrong. Amit asked for opinion and I gave mine as others did. Amits problem is that he only wanted to hear from people who liked it, which is why people got pissed off with him and started a slanging match.

People wrote that that they didn't like his car and he posted back your a ****** then. Simply the guys too childish to write intelligence and accept the criticism and therefore gets a pasting, then winges its because he's a F*&£ing P*"£ (from his post again!).

I had explained this to him in a post on his thread but I don't think he understood it as he continued as before.

On the car front I didn't like his car as it is sheep in wolfs clothing, something I really detest, its exactly the same as a Vauxall Nova! I do like Al's silver car though and I have said that before, but I don't know why, I just do! See I am not anti modded cars completely.

Fair enough you may like the colour.....I personally love Alan car (the red one) cos its the same colour as mine! but as for subtlety amits car apart from windows is very subtle....who would u think would win @ the lights if all 3 cars pulled up just based on looks

As for you Nigel.....you may have a point, but u still dont mention views on the other cars......

I just think some people were too harsh and have nothing better to do or say.....

maybe Amit didnt take it well but its hard to take such harsh and drastic criticism...dont you think?

Seriously though, I dont think the silver car looks in your face as much, simply because it hasnt got the basic boy racer shape to start with. The worst type of mod I have ever seen ( and I hope I dont upset anyone) are those ridiculous dodge viper type stripes that you see all over the place now........please dont tell me someone has done that here!

but Alan (2) bravo is the hottest l i have scene if that isnt so called boy racer I dont know what is? Its certainly more spory than amits

They are different cars but it still one kit for both models, as the cars are the same dimentions.

the kit for the Bravo and Brava are identical apart from the rear, mine has one big hole, and the bravo is spilt into 3 sections. and obviously the boot spoiler ids different, and i think mine has slightly longer sideskirts, but not sure on that.

yes mine and Amits are the same Kit, (but different because of rear) but so is Alan Wheeldon's (red bravo) except he has different sideskirts (cadamuro design i believe?) the only real differences are the colours and wheels.

i do think mine is less boy-racer ish because it isn't a hot hatch, although the evo spolier is a bit more boy racerish!

Just got back from Tenerife and there seems to be quite a lot of heated messages here.

I will say i like Allan's Brava escially the bonnet which is wot im having done. Everyone says that al wheeldon's bravo is amazing but i have seen it in the flesh and it wasn't all that special!!

About his bumper, its a carcept rear bumper which the diffuser is almost exactly the same as the indy one.

Mine hopefully will be another that looks mint!

Amit keep the modding going mate u r doing a great job!!!

Oh no, the Bravo is rapidly becoming a ratboy car...

Fortunately none of these eyesores have appeared around here yet, but it doesn't bode well for the resale value of my car.

I dislike all three. The idiocy of them is the fakeness of what they're trying to achieve: you got it right with 'sheep in wolf's clothing'. Pointless, showy and vain. And it's no defence to say 'I can't afford the insurance for mechanical mods'. That doesn't justify screwing nasty bits of tat all over a perfectly presentable car.

the carzone and indy kit are identical, the difference is in the bravo and brava, and Alan wheeldon has blended his into the old bumper i think?
