Well for the past couple of weeks I've had a screeching belt sound at idle and a knocking sound, pulling up at work I've had belittling comments of why don't you spray wd40 on that belt and sounds like you've got a bad water pump pal.
Anyway today I changed the alternator pulley. Access to change the alternator is tight to say the least but I managed to change the pulley in-situ.
Access again is tight to get to the pulley but I released the top engine mount let the engine down on a trolley Jack and jacked the body up. 33 spline tool and Allen key to lock the spindle and it came off quite sprightly.
