I'm also looking for some new alloys as the 16" ones don't fill the arches properly. Does anyone know where i can get some 18" or 19" alloys/tyres for it. Ta.:) :)

The alloys look small compared to the rest of the vehicle. I thought that larger alloys would maybe set the car off better. It also depends on the cost!! How quickly did your tyres wear out. I have done about 10000 miles and have noticed quite alot of wear on the front two. So i've swapped them with the rear ones, so they all wear out at nearly the same time. Then i can replace them all, and maybe the alloys aswell.

We managed about 20k on them - BUT I stress they were NOT road legal for all that time. I know I had to replace the N/S/R with the spare very early on, due to dire tear wear.

Michelin Pilot ELs are the ones FIAT now recommend as well - ours was shipped with Pirellis (n)

We are now on 27K with the high load Michelin tyres and I think we will get another couple of thousand out of them.

The ride is a bit mushy anyway so maybe a lowering kit would stiffen it up a bit. It's not going to be the best handling car in the world simply becuse of what it is! Although with it being lower it might make it easier for the mother in law to get in. Went to the dealer yesterday to see how much the 18" alloys were off the Stilo Schumacher were, and whether they'd fit. Once i'd picked myself up off the floor i decided i wouldn't take out a second mortgage to get them. Thanks.
