mytyres works out more expensive than my local type fitter once you include fitting and balancing costs, always get a local quote before buying online, and find out how much fitting will cost if you supply your own tyres, its often £10 per wheel these days, although £5 is not uncommon.

As said depends on what tyres you want, i got proxies from there £43 each and £5 fitting balancing and disposal. The cheapest the tyre place could do it was £68 each.

actually a 195/50 profile will be similar to a 205/45 tyre profile, as the profile is a percentage of the width. (y) 195 is by far, plenty wide enough.

does that mean my tyres are a bit too wide?? my wheels came with the car and had theses sizes on so thought i better not change them!

ive got odd wheels too, six spoke fiat wheels but have speedline cast on them!?never seen another set anywhere??

here are some pics, the before and after. they were taken with my phone so not great quality. Just started college so had to get cheap tyres, got GTs in the end. I just need to get an Abarth front bumper now!! in the last pic the boot looks a slightly different colour but its not its just the camera!

Klemster, they look really nice (y)

Carl. as suggested above 205 is perfectly fine, I was trying to suggest the fact that 195 were not too skinny. My car is set up on 195/16 and puts 250bhp through the front wheels :D
