General Alloy Wheels

Currently I have normal wheels on my ducato 2.0jtd

Current wheels/tyres are

195/70/15

Has anyone changed there wheels, any problems.

I just want to make the van look better, it's a van for a hobby not work and towing our caravan so just want to tidy it up.

Not looking to bling it up.

Ive got the same van, but petrol and ive fitted 18" M3 alloys on mine.

m3 is 5x120 yours is 5x118 so you'd should use wobble bolts Center bore is a bit larger so you need to be careful doing the studs up to keep it centered. Also you need to check the load rating of the wheels so make sure they are good for at least half the weight of your heaviest axle weight as stamped on the vin plate, you don't want to give the insurance bods any excuses.

I personally wouldn't put 18" alloys on it unless you like paying for tyres.

I am looking at these on the same tyre size. They state van approved. And recommended for the van when you put all the detains in.

My buddy had those on his carvelle they look nice I don't like polished wheels cause the lacquer always seems less durable than paint and they show up the chips and any scrapes much more than a painted wheel.

Decided on 16 inch wheels now in black. Just painted the roof in gloss hammerite
