I am looking to get my wheels tidied up just to bring them back like new. They have some very minor kerbing and are also slightly dulled and have lots of tiny stains and scratches through general wear and tear. I clean them weekly and try and avoid any acid cleaners just sticking with decent shampoo and sealer.
There are a handful of these smart repair type man in a van companies in the area who charge about £50 per corner however I am not sure if they will do a good job that will last. Has anyone here had any experience with these kind of companies?
I can't really afford to be without my car for the 2/3 days that the bodyshops and specialists quote and can't really justify their prices considering they aren't that bad. They just need a good tidy up!
I have had a bad experience with a man in a van type company who did some paintwork repairs for me. Fortunately I was able to get the work done properly in the end, a full refund of £192 plus £200 as a goodwill gesture. So not all bad but still a bad experience!
This website also made me think whether these smart repair companies are a good idea:

The car is a Bravo Sport with the 18 inch standard silver alloys.
Any advice would be welcome and appreciated.
Thanks
