Technical Alloy Offset

Hi all,
I am just about to buy a set of alloys for the marea 2.0 20v 1999.

I believe the standard offset is 35mm?

Would I be able to fit a set with 40mm offset without problems? Or would I need spacers?

And would 40mm offset make the wheel pround or set back from the arches?

You would probably need spacers but depends how wide it is. An ET of 40 would mean it would sit quite far in the arches. The lower the ET the further it will poke out.

Standard offset is 49mm. You will run 40mm offset no worries. Have 15 inch coupe wheels on mine and no dramas at all. They are 40mm offset.

Standard offset is 42.
