Should i have them? There seems to be confusion over the issue.

These are not the same as the two blue keys, correct?

The car is a 1999 V reg Fiat Bravo HLX. UK spec.

Thanks guys,
Great forum.

Matt

re

look under your fusebox cover, by steering wheel.

if you havea small space for an alarm key, i woudl think you shoudl have them!!

Can these be retrieved and re made from Fiat? As i dont have any, but do have an alarm.

Anyone?

Can they be purchased from fiat and re cut?

Fiat have been useless so far.

re

no idea, buti think i have my old ones that are redundant somwhere.

knowing fiat that are probably the same !lol

Not all Bravo/a's and mareas with an alarm have them.

Mine doesn't! Mind you, it doesnt have the fiat alarm anymore either :)

:D, FIAT so predicable. Complicated on their electronics and then they all go wrong....

Whats up with yours?

So, the conclusion is there all the same? (Techincally meaning i can buy them off someone with a scraped one).

Anyone know of an easier way of getting them?

Thanks,
Matt

Yea when my car was off the road when i first bought it i hunted for this, didnt have the key either. Found the space in the glovebox but no lock to turn... SO alarm not disabled. Annayoing as i had no car battery.

I wondered about this.

I contacted Alfa who said that they are NOT supplied with the cars at the behest of UK insurance companies. I've has umpteen FIAT and Alfa's and never got these keys with the cars.

mines got two, cos when i got the car i didnt have a clue what they were for lol but now i do thanks to the help on here cheers guys

www.digital-angels.co.uk bringing you what you want

Theres a bit of Bravo in all of us

My MK1 hgt has 2!

And the alarm is acting the tit, never knew what they were untill now

Could it be a simple fix for a fiat????

HAHA, Doubt it!

My alarm went haywire a while back and i didnt have that key, now the alarm light flashes constantly sayin its gone off and it doenst work :(

Does anyone know if these keys would be the same for every bravo?

As if so, would anyone wish to sell theres for a reasonable price - need them asap!

Pleaseeeee...

No, they're not - defeats the object of having an alarm if all the disarming keys are the same.

The light continues to flash even when the engine is on, the same as Seb,

Can this be reset without the key, or using the remote.?

just chop the wires off the back of the lock and twist them together. does the same thing lol
