airbag control unit

hi all,
yesterday on the way back home ive noticed that airbag light stayed on. took her to the fiat specialist, he ran diag test and said it wouldnt reset. he said it need a new control unit. any idea where can i get one or can i repair the old one?? tried my local scrap yard but no luck. any advice welcome

Airbags in the Bravo are useless, there was a recent thread that demonstrated this, most members on here that have crashed there beloved Bravos can confirm the air bag never deployed on impact and there have been some impacts.. TommyK has a photo of a very messy bravo after a couple of flips into a field and still it never deployed.

Remove the Airbag get a sports racing wheel and disable the light on the console very easy with a 1.5cm long wire and a bit of tape...plus its only an advisory on the MOT.

its not that,
its just that annoying red light on dashboard...

mine's on too mate,mine could be the fact its had a conversion tho..needs looking at i think.

i just wanna get it back to normal. i can get control unit from 155 mk2 for 25(cheap when you compare it to 314+vat from fiat) but im not sure if it will fit?? can anyone tell me if the control unit is the same on mk1 and mk2??
