Hi, apologies if I'm in the wrong area for this, seems like the place where people post bravo issues, my air power is very weak from the internal air vents (right arrow) whereas the up and down arrows airflow is good, I've read that it could be a very expensive fix via dash removal to replace the linkage but have seen that it can be manually opened via accessing the scuttle panel but the thread ended there, could anyone point me in the right direction for this or link me to a thread where this is located, am guessing this is a common issue so hopefully should be a quick fix, thanks in advance

Is it weak when just the dash vents are on? Basically turn off floor vents and windscreen vents.

Mine is quite weak from the dash vents when I have multiple vents open, it tends to like coming out the windscreen vent the best, however if I close windscreen and floor vents it comes out rather powerful through the dash vents.

Hi Matthew, yeah I've tried all those things, I've tried just the right arrow on its own, one of the vent flaps was closed and I manually opened it but still no better, apparently. There's a link arm attached to the switch via a motor which provides full airflow to the driver vents and doesn't come as a repair part so people have had the dash out to replace the arm but if it is the arm that has snapped I'm hoping it would be covered under my warranty as it's component failure, I have an 07 1.9d 150 dynamic

There's weak and then there's my vent, almost like it's blocked, I read it could be the pollen filter being blocked but there's no restriction to the airflow to the up and down arrows

Hi, have just bought a Bravo and as above am having trouble with air flow through the vents. I tried all vent buttons separately and am now trying to figure out how to find the pollen filter. I've heard it's in the passenger foot well but cant figure out where. Any and all help greatly received

On my 1.6 Multijet the pollen filter is in the driver's footwell to the left of the clutch. The trim comes off and then its behind a bit of plastic. It a bit of a awkward thing to do since the clutch gets in the way.
I believe there is a guide in the guide section.

Thanks for that mikem, have managed to get the filter out, cleaned and back in, but still very little air flow.

Is there a way to manually open the vent without removing the dash?

Gazax, to get to the actuator you need to remove the glovebox, centre console (inc. rear part), gear lever gator mount, bits of plastic trim under the radio and the passenger footwell trim. Most of these are held in place with either torx head or hex head screws.

It took me and a mechanic about 45 minutes to an hour to figure out what needed to be removed to get to the actuator and then about 15 minutes to get it all back together. Once I got the plastic clip it took me about 30 minutes to get it all apart again and another 15 minutes to put it back together. It was a bit of a nightmare as you need to pretty flexible to get to and find all the screws and the actuator.

if you need any help message me and I'll see what I can do

Thanks Mac, really appreciate your help. Going to attempt it before autumn, the buzzing is driving me mad. Prepare yourself for lots of questions when I'm about to attempt it
