Air conditioning?

With this heat we have been having lately I am thinking about getting air con cos really is uncomfortable in car in this heat.

Anyone any ideas/done it already/costs??

(Not gonna spend loads on it cos not like this is Miami heat or anything, but if its say 250 or under might do it)

I think it cost around £1000 as an option when new...so i suspect £1250-£1500...

My suggestion...get a dash mounted fan

Have to say that I have aircon but would never pay for it. Waste of time IMHO.

U could in theory get the aircon unit from a bravo with air con and fit it to one without. My mate has done that in his vectra.

Hmmm I will have to check but I was expecting it to be that expensive. Ah well will have to try a dash mounted fan - you got one Daz?

Would have thought they would just blow the same hot air at you an not cool ya down at all - am I wrong?
