Technical air con or a con?

Hi, this qubo I'm buying tomorrow..the dealer has just informed me that it doesn't have air conditioning? When I test drove it..I pushed the dial and it lit up which I thought indicated the air con was on? Its a 2014 life motability model diesel 75bhp..

Well that's naughty of them then. Personally I love A/C and I would refuse the vehicle.
If it doesn't bother you, you could always haggle for some discount.

But surely if the button lights up it should have it or has the compressor been removed or even the compressor drive belt been removed.

If it's not to late I would get things clarified before I took delivery,
with air con if the engine is ticking over when you press the button
you can usually hear a click as the compressor clutch goes in.

The air con light comes on? It's odd they told me it's been re gassed..then they said it doesn't have air con! It's a great vehicle with low miles and one previous owner..I now have the vehicle and am quite sure it has air con..ill get it fixed..I really like this car..so not too irritated! Lol

I'll have a listen..I have bought the car now and very happy with it..so I'll get air con fixed by my mechanic..first thing I'll do is change the oil..its had a change but I don't know if its synthetic they used? Not going to chance it..

I got car for very good price...so ac isn't such a big deal..Great car..steering wheel needs straightening up.wheels parallel to kerb the steering wheel is at 11 o'clock position ish..

Aircon pipes and pump should be obvious under the bonnet, plus the additional radiator ahead of the cooling one.
Most wheelchair vehicles have come with aircon for several years now. With so much glass, the poor wheelchair occupant is sitting in a greenhouse.
