Good Day

Having been let down by Longlife, is there an aftermarket tailor fit back box available at a decent price? I've done Google searches and seem to be drawing a blank. Ragazzon do one but I'm not paying the best part of £400 for a back box. Remus list them but when I contacted them said they've been discontinued. Novitec only manufacture them for the standard model and not the Sport bumper model.

Any other makes you guys can suggest?

Oh well I've gone for it.

I've ordered a Ragazzon from Gazzella, Chris was very helpful, gave me a very good price, communication has been good, so far so good, just the delivery time to assess now, ordered Monday 15th March, will post as soon as it arrives.

Also, I ordered some Eibachs (Pro Kit) from www.motorsportworld.com excellent price, best on the web, free next day delivery and very helpful service. I've used these guys often, they are knowledgeable and the service is swift, never fail to deliver the next day! Will be fitting them this weekend.

Will post photos once complete.

Last update from Ragazzon:

"Due to an unexpected delivery delay from our supplier of tail/end pipes. (We buy them from a specialist factory in Italy) item number 50.0216.26 will be shipped from our factory Thursday 25 March. It takes 3- 4 business days to UK by DPD. Your customer will receive it 30 March"

The Ragazzon sounds great, had one on my GT, well worth the money, annoyed about the wait though!

You should have peeped me, the Bravo is undergoing a few subtle mods at the moment, pictures will be posted when complete..................

Guess what?

I have wasted a day waiting around, it hasn't arrived.

Dear TC,

Just spoke to Ragazzon. The delivery date will be on Thursday.

They apologise for delay to you. It was due to a delay from their supplier of the Tail Pipes.
The factory sold so many pieces and their supplier could not cope with demand.

Now they have a big stock again and can deliver as normal.

Kind regards
Chris

Well, it arrived today, it isn't constructed as good as the Ragazzon that I purchased for my Alfa GT and it has been a right pain in the ass to fit, however, now it's on, it looks great and sounds great too, worth the hassle and the wait!

Video of how it sounds? :)

To be honest it'd be a waste of time, I've tried this with the Ragazzon on my Alfa and you can't really appreciate or pick up the sound. The Ragazzon is quiet, you can't hear it from inside the car, it sounds like a stock pipe under 4000rpm and you really need to be behind it to hear the whoosh it makes. Also, don't forget, it stays within the legal 74db requirement for the UK. Looks the nuts though, will post photos up soon...................

It's not a waste of time, just get a video camera, sit it behind the car, start recording, jump in the car, rev it lightly a few times, rev it quite hard a few times and red line it once, upload it to youtube or something... and then post us the link here.

I'll bet it sounds awesome =)

does sound any less like a diesel now?

Thank you TC !

I just love it (y) As you all know, had the Simons 2 x 2 in the old one,
built by Martelius. The Black Bravo was also tuned more in to race look,
inside & out, so I didn´t want to do the same again.

Allthough being the colour what it is, ;) I prefer the way it looks, besides
a rare colour indeed. Have to see what comes next to the car, but I have
allready bought a Sport´s versions rear spoiler ( Biscione ) and a alulist to
the rear tailgate.

The installion took just 40.min and I wanted the outlets to fit with the
under rear bumber as close as possible. Took the Bravo for a spin after
that and have to say this: :slayer: Medium deep sound as promised in the
lower revs and the car behaves much more better than in the original
version. Bravo responses more to the throttle and you can feel a quite
nice gain when concerning the extra horses & torque..

Just do it ;) ( You´ll get it :) ).

I saw the same Supersprint for sale in a German link for 695.00 Euros
and mine was 640.00E´s, installed.

I have just the experience from the Simons & Supersprint, but the guys
in Martelius said this well wort the money, long lasting, the sounds and
100% "roster"steel, so I guess these things are the facts for the cost
of this exhaust.
