Think they was around £70-80 if i remember right.
Think the manufactrer of the rings was AE which are part of the federal mogul company?
He wants to make sure his bores are good first if he is just re-ringing the engine and make sure there is not to much of a ridge at the top of the bores.
He also needs to lightly hone the bores or the new rings will not bed in properly and the engine will be an under powered smoker.
Also when he gets it honed get him to make sure they hone it out with a tool called a flexi hone, and not just a glaze buster with grinding stones.
If he is going for a full rebore he should be fine,although i am not sure that they sell oversize pistons/rings anymore.
