Advice needed on wiring fogs from SX,toHLX ,bumper change

How do i wire up the fogs from a HLX front bumper to an SX, wiring, interior switch ETC

SOME advice would be very welcome.

on a MK2....

"All I put on the car was the bumper and fogs and connected the fogs to the loose wire as mine is an SX, I then took out my button panel which only had the rear fog button and heated rear windscreen button on it and replaced it with the button panel from the donor car which had the rear fog button and heated rear windscreen button aswell as a button for the front fogs, all I did was plugged it in the back. I dont know wheter it had made a difference mine being a mk2 51 plate."

behidn an sx bumper the wiring is already there??
and behind the dash console the button is behind the current ones??

open the bonnet and have a look, should be there to see.

If you look under the passenger side of the bumper iirc, you will find the cable attached some where, this just plugs into cable for the fogs.

Then if you pull out the switch panel and replace it just putting the new one in and putting the two wires back in, one for the heated rear window and the other for both fogs.

Then get out and check they work!

Check Sven's guide for centre dash removal to see the pic of the switch and how to remove it, page 2.

IS THIS the same for wing indicators
as in the wiring is behind the base plates etc.

I dont totally understand your question! The wiring for the side repeaters (wing indicators) is behind the baseplates, the mirror baseplates?

There are no indicator wiring behind the base plates. Either run wires from the existing wiring behind the wing or get the indicator signal from behind the console. (I.e hazard warning switch).

on the wing mirrors i see some people are buying the m3 wing mirrors which have indicators on them

now where is the wiring for the wing mirrors to allo the indicators to work??
