Technical Advice needed on testing the injectors please

Is it possible to test the injectors with a multimetre without removing the manifold? The bloke at the garage reckons not.

He says the diagnostic tests he carried out says there is a problem with injector 3 but he says he doesn't know if its the injector itself or the circuit relating to it.

Let me guess, this is a 1.6 right? If so almost certainly the injector and lots in the archives including resitances to measure. Get a multimeter on the circuit and it will be the injector you are looking at.
