Adding Pictures

Can someone please advise as to how I can insert a pictue from my folders list onto the forum page. Each time I hit the upload button nothing seems to happen.

Click on 'insert Object' and a window will open up.

now click 'temporary files' then 'upload'

then click on browse, find the file you want to insert, and open.

then click 'upload', next to the browse button, then click insert link.

make sure there are no spaces in the filename you're using.

job done.

huh?^^^^ For the pic to display in the forum it needs its own URL, if you have webspace put it on this overwise use www.Fotango.co.uk, upload your pictures to this then click on get url for this picture, copy and paste the url into the forum post and when posted the picture will appear

if you log in sy, when you post on the forum, you'll find theres an extra box to click on, 'insert object'

you no longer need fotango, or any other host.

And the problem with doing it using the temp realm files is they are temp and deleted leaving the red cross white square picture!

The best way to post a pic in here is to utilise some web space (most ISP's give you some free) and either ftp the files up to that space and link to it or find a kind benefactor who will host the pix for you.
