Nice one Owen.

Could you email it to Wimmy direct at [email protected]? He can then add it to the guide.

Ive been thinking about this and have a question.....

If you have a phone in headset mode, when you answer the call will the sound come through the speakers?

I have a w800i, and the headset that comes with it is in 2 parts, so in theorey you could attatch your own headphones rather than using the SE ones. So if i attatched a jack to jack lead and put it in through the aux socket, theoretically the persons voice on the phone would come through the speakers.

Obviously I wouldnt have the microphone on the headset anymore (its on the headphone end which is silly) but I can set the phone to automatically go on loudspeaker anyway which makes the microphone more sensitive.

Any problems with all that? If not it'd be a cheaper and more practical to a handsfree kit???

Hi,

it should work ok, but you would have to combine the left and right channel on the aux in if you wanted the sound to come through on left and right (just use a jack socket with left and right connected together). Also, as mentioned in the tutorial you may have to turn up the radio volume a bit more to match the input level..

Owen.
