When I was in Morocco with the Panda (Sylvia the African Queen!) Seen this in one of the local car mags...

100 Dh is about 6 quid so I'm sure someone with a calculator will work that out!

The car is not expensive, but it is not cheap either - considering the manufacturer changed only its looks, not age.
To use figures from where I live:
The price makes 215.800 CZK.
"Social" edition of Seicento, released for PL, CZ and HU (no radio, no extras, only 3 colors) markets this summer is 154.000.
Panda II starts at about 220.000 - just like basic Punto.
Numerous Korean models are sold cheaper (and nobody wants them).
Dacia Logan (Renault made in Romania) starts at some 220.000 - and, boy, its trunk is big enough to accomodate two victims of mob revenge.
1993 Uno in factory-clean condition sells for 25.000 - if you are lucky enough. Influenced by German superstitions, local SH market almost ignores Fiats. You can get two 1989 Unos for the price of one 1989 Golf.
It is a good feeling to see the brave little Uno being resurrected in Morocco, but I do not think it is healthy to try selling them to the EU market for the price mentioned.

hehe, lads ive already thought about it! ive even priced a shell up from fiat and it comes in at about £2500+VAT for the shell! thats without doors etc! might go over there and drive one home! can easily make it back to a mk2!

It is ugly as standard but it does have potential. Heres a pic i found of one that has been done up with sweet looking angel eye headlights but a little bit chavvy for my liking. Imagine sticking a turbo lump in there
