General AC malfunction

The AC on my Marea 1,6 16V Estiva has a malfunction.
When the AC activation key is pressed the LED turns ON and the fan starts on low speed, like it should, but no cooling appears.
I've been looking at the system, but i'm a little unsure what to do.
The compressor were replaced by new 1,5 years ago, so it should be OK.
Is it possible by measuring the signals between the 3 stage pressure switch and the ECU, to determine if the system has the correct pressure?
As far as i know it's the ECU that activates the compressor solenoid, if the 3 stage pressure switch and ECU allows it.

Any good ideas that can keep me from paying a service check?

a working compressor but no cold air suggests you've got a leak so the freon gas has been lost.

:yeahthat: Check your condenser to see if you've got a hole in it. Also, you can buy pressure testers from places like halfauds to check the pressure in the A/C system.

Okay, that's what i suspect too.
But does anybody know if it's possible to measure on the 3 stage pressure switch if the pressure in the system is OK or not?
I think the switch is there to shut the compressor down if the pressure is to low or to high...
