I've been using carpal obd2 scanner for faults and while looking at the live data it's showing the "Absolute load value" being over 300% is this normal?

Never looked at or considered.

This is the official? standard info:

https://yabb.autonerdz.com/yabbfiles/Attachments/Calculated_Load_and_Absolute_Load_Calculations.pdf

Reading elswhere:

Absolute load value ranges from 0% to approximately 95% for normally aspirated engines and 0% to 400% for boosted engines. The information is used to schedule spark and EGR rates, and to determine the pumping efficiency of the engine for diagnostic purposes.
