my hlx is going to a FIAT garage tomorrow because the clutch clylinder has had it. the abs light is also...thing is that the car has a parts and labour insurance via AA. now i know that the cylinder is covered but is there anyway that the abs light can be linked to this.what i want is the AA insurance to cover this and any work needed to put the light out? i know its a bit dodgy but just would like to know wether this could be tied in. the ABS light had come on before the cylinder went.

No, the ABS light means its something wrong with the ABS, so it may be the sensors, ecu .....
And the slave cyl is only hydraulic - it will cause only the brake oil light to go on

oh well, i tryin to see if i could blag it with the AA.lol

whats the worst case scenario with the abs light? what i mean is .when i bought the car, the light never came on. then had new arm on suspension, and the light stayed on ever since.could it be damaged wiring etc, what sort of exspense could i be looking at.

Like Pete said - they brobably damaged the ABS sensor on the hub - they should replace it.
The sensors are way expencive
