A question for the resident v6 vec heads about your knockers....

well, knock sensors....

how easy/dificult is it to replace these?, i understand the v6 has 2, one on the front, one at the rear, the front from diagrams looks accsesible, but is the back easy enough to do?

If there knackered, whats symptoms does it show? and would the car still run?

i've been tipped off about a vec that needs a new knock sensor, so im just wondering how viable it may be

its the same as any other sensor in a car with a big engine. Its easy enough but a bit fiddly
