a question about one bravo from one gallery..

That car looks very very low, 60mm at least, however i think this is only because it is going round a corner, so the springs are loaded, therefore the car could even be standard.

Thats was Ricks Bravo. The one that got wrote off last week.

I'll leave it to Rick to fill you in.

That was when he was racing it round donninton race track. Was well cool

top weekend that was!!! looking forward to next year already.

It means that the car was in a crash and wrote off by the insurance company bcos the cost of fixing it is more than what the car is worth so it is wrote off.
Somebody might be able to give you a better definition but this is mine.

thats mine!

that blue bravo was mine until some **** crashed into it and its now dead. it uses 35mm GMAX lowering springs and polar 17" alloy wheels with a off set for a HGT. i have now bought another bravo (a HGT this time, not a 1.8 HLX) wich will have the same treatment. the main reason it looks so low on the pics is it has abarth side skirts on which look lower by 2 inches! in the lower pics from harbury carnival the guy in the blue stripy trousers is me!

Also while your here Huw we were talking at Donnington about your 1.8 and when you decated it it didnt make a difference performace wise. Was that the case or did I dream that conversation.

You definitely dreamt that conversation as my bravo broke down on the way to Donnington & so I never made it there!!

Thanx for your answer...Well, regarding to those pics...you insurance things sux

I mean, i had a crash too (my fault), made like 5 times more damage to my car (can post a pic if you'd like), the repair costs were about (if using new parts) 6000 euro, and the car value was like 7000 euro (not crashed, as it was before the crash, althogh i payed like 8000 for it...)

And i still got around 3000 euro from my insurance company and got almost through (still need the airbags, that's around 400 euro) with that money and it looks as it was (without the Abart front bumper, which is absoulutely to expensive right now)

Well...accidents sux...

I hope you'll have more fun with your HGT.

I'm gonna get myself a FK lowering springs 60mm/40mm and some 17' (i'm checking some new ones tomorrow, only 200 euro )

Do FK make -60mm springs for the Bravo - i just had a look at the site and couldnt see them- looked like they only do veedubs?

If not does anyone else make -60mm springs? Imused to a mini opn coilover type suspension scraping on the floor! - must go lower!!!!!

FK has it..

FK has -60mm/-40mm (front/back) springs for fiat Bravo for sure, cause i'm buying them at my local shop

Only springs cost around 100 pounds, the whole package is around 300

Just seen your pics and a description of what happened it sounds like he was showing off to his mates (4 passengers)?
you were on the roundabout so you had right of way throw the book at him sounds like your g/friend has whip lash
claim it yourself go to your doctor or out patients saying you were in an accident (it's worth £5000 these days)
