Styling A place for the Sat nav in a 500

Well today I had this idae that the windscreen is not the only place you could stick your sat nav in the car!!!
What do you think?

if you look at it rather than just listen it might be dangerous as you have to look away from the road too much/too long

True, but I use a map and its far more dangerous when I tell my wife off for leading me the wrong way

There is another potential problem; what happens to the sat nav if the airbag is activated (hopefully that will never happen)?
I just stick to maps....

I bought a bracket that fixes the tomtom to the air vents. It sits higher than the inbuilt satnav in my Accord.

That only works only because the letters look the same in the mirror image. What would they look like on someone's forehead if it was a Blaupunkt or similar?

Especially as the MotMot is very cheap for a 500 owner who feels so smug as to have it imprinted on his mind

I am having to have sat nav fitted - the Fiat one - as my wife is learning to drive, when she passes and goes out by herself, she has no sense of direction - I want the car back!
