Are the heads of the 999FIRE MkI with carb and the 999FIRE MkII with injection the same?
Or as I suspect does the distributor on the MkI use a slightly different shaped head casting to the electronic ignition on a MkII?
i.e. its not necessarily a straight swap to put a 999FIRE MkI engine [block+head] straight into a MKII and use the MkII's induction and ignition system.
