My uno turbo is almost ready for paint but i can't find the paint code on the rear boot lid where it usually is on uno's.I think it was Bianco ???? on one of my old uno t's but i'll need the full code to get the right paint.Any help appreciated,Mark.

As far as I know there are about three different whites for that era Uno Turbo :) AlexGS will be able to tell you more.

One of the most common paints is Bianco 210 as per Fiat PPG catalogue. Or more commonly called pure white. I do not know is it your original, but it was used widely on unos and tipos...

My 88 MK1 Uno is Bianca Corfu which is paint code 224F. I am not sure if that was a Turbo colour too though.

mine is bianco 210, there are 3 shades, as i painted the whole car i chose the b shade ( blue tint) as looks a lot cleaner and sharper, i also used a basecoat white then laquered it which again gives a different look ( like white glass ) i was toying with the idea of flicking a couple of coats of blue misty pearl over the basecoat, but went for straight white, Ant!

Thanks for the info. There were 4 different paint codes so i picked the one with the least ammount of blue in it.It cost me £50 for 2.5ltrs of 2k paint.
I should be able to get it to the painters within the next few weeks & then it'll become a rolling project:D

If you went for standard no1 shade (which everyone does) it is a lot redder than the shade i went for, the blue makes it a lot sharper cleaner etc, what make of paint did you get and where from, Ant!

Sorry I didn't see this thread, but sounds like you have done well.
As the others said, four shades of Bianco 210 - one slightly blue, one 'white', one yellowish, and one more yellowish. I know what antsuno2 means when he says he picked the blue-ish one, but for those of us that are trying to match the existing car, the slightly-yellowish seems the safer bet.

That price doesn't sound bad to me - at least being 2K it goes on like the original, lasts like the original, and doesn't need a clearcoat! Try doing a three-stage pearl repaint with the clearcoat and THEN complain about the price :D

Keep us posted with pics! :)

-Alex
