General 70sx uno engine

hi, does anyone know if there is anywhere on this engine where the cc of the engine is shown, or on tipo 1.4, thanks

can't think where on the engine itself, but is a 1301cc

yeah it is a 1372 cc, just need proof of engine size for documentation

I've no idea. I mean, I've only go two mk1 SX's so how would I know?!!!

I think if it's anywhere then it will be on the face of the engine block somewhere but I've no idea which side.

Oh and Jai. Early mk1 SX's had the 1299cc engine and then the later engines were 1301cc

There's no way of telling the actual capacity looking at the block?
1299/1301/1372 use the same size pistons,,, different cranks.

I know that’s true for the TURBO 1.3 and 1.4, but..

But the N/A (non turbo) 1.3
86.4mm bore, 55.5mm stroke (Haynes orange page 27)

1.4 N/A (and TURBO)
80.5mm bore, 67.4mm stroke (Haynes orange page 238)

1.3 TURBO (for ref)
80.5mm bore
63.8mm (1299cc) 63.9mm (1301cc) (Haynes orange page 237)

not sure how you'd tell by looking externally though. Engine number should be able to tell those with access to data.

Alternatively there is a casting number on the back of the block (probably in line with the drive shafts).
