General 650 engine balance

Hi Guys,
Talking to my engine guy about balancing my engine and im a wee bit confused. How do i find out what balance values are for my engine?.
TIA
If you can find out the "balance values" for the 500 engine, please let us know! On a more serious note, this is something that Fiat just doesn't release. The 500, and 126, engines are quite well balanced, and there are just one or two specialists in the country who will undertake a full engine balance of these little 2-cylinder engines---but they are expensive! "Vibration-Free" in Bicester (Oxfordshire) is one such company. Oselli used to be able to do it, but their "balance" man has now retired, so they can no longer do 2-cylinder engines.
The best thing to do with the 500, is trust the factory with regard to the crankshaft balance, make sure that the bits and bobs that go up-and-down are equal and if you have the flywheel skimmed, or lightened, make sure that is balanced; and remember not to go above 6,000rpm for any length of time!

Hi Rizzo, The values (or numbers) your man is referring to is the Balance Factor of the engine and as Tom@the hobbler has said Anyone who balances these engines will not reveal the figures, not just Fiat!!!! I have had extensive balancing work done by 'Vibration Free' and Tom has too, their work is very thorough and the results speak for themselves - check the web site. It really does depend on what you need and how far you wish to go. If you need any more info get back to me.
Ian.
