60 ltr tank???

right, i ran the hgt right down below the red on the fuel gauge, to fill it up @ 94.9ppl at sainsburys near me was £46.50.. which was 49 ltrs...

its suppose to be 60 ltr tank isnt it? tats what the book says...
help!!!!

Yup 60ltr tank.


You have a 10 ltr reserve once you get down to the red line.


So at least you now know that wen you get to that point again you do have about 10ltrs left to find a petrol station.


The JTD did 100miles on empty once comming back from uni one morning.... the only petrol station was closed so i had no choice than keep going.... filled up the next day and got just about 59ltrs in the tank.... do i could have gome a bit futher

....

Yer i used to get that on mine,it always puzzled me when i used to fill it aswell.Sometimes itd cost £44 brimmed..
With mine bein a conversion,i used to think the guy had left the 1.4 tank on lol

Nice well i did notice you have the standard side indicators. Whats been done to the suspension I noticed the 20v marea has anti roll bar drop links attached to the strut rather than the lower arm? Whats yours?

When i 1st joined up (year ago),they were the 1st thing that someone spotted lol..
Yer its got the drop links aswell mate.
Was my sis'fella that bought the car when it was made years ago...(but he a footie fan not a car lad) so in his eyes it was a 2l bravo lol
Went down the other day to see the guy that built it,took him a while to do he said,He put Everythin on it,along with the rear axle etc
(he owns a garage and had a marea that was going to the scrappers so used that).

The only thing he left out was the armrest lol
I asked him about that AND the marea wings and he said 'dont no' lol and the wings.. he didnt know there was a difference NOR did he knew there was a Bravo HGT lol

But i got an armrest in to finish it off
