2014 Anniversario 180bhp. Hi I have just removed and cleaned the inside of my wheels, when removing the rear wheeel I notice a spacer dropped off Is this standard or is it an aftermarket? I then noticed the studs are longer on the rear than the front, although the front has slightly thinner spacers this then allows me to use wheel locking nuts on the front but means i have to buy longer for the rear. The biggest pain was fitting the wheel back on and keep the spacers in place at the same time.
On my old 1972 500 with disc brakes, I made seperate removable studs to line up the wheel it made life 10 times easier, all I did was to cut the head off a long 19mm bolt that left me with a long stud, if you place the stud in the disc prior to fitting the wheel on then the wheel lines up and just pop in 3 bolts then remove the handmade stud & fit the last one.
