Bit of a saga this one, came back from a main dealer after fitting an intercooler and running rough, they washed their hand of it and said out of warranty.
Any way to cut a long story short the engine had numerous broken rockers obviously it had been over revved at some point, carried out the repairs checked valves etc and rebuilt it. starts first time ok, revs ok, but will run uneven at idle and cut out, fuel filter replaced, checked fuel lines ok. no excess back leakage from injectors however removed for testing and two were shot. so replaced them (£600) and sounding much better, pulling like a train and driving generally very well but still cuts out, will idle if revs are dropped slowly but will eventually get lumpy and cut out. swopped complete high pressure pump from a good running vehicle to eliminate pump, pressure valves and regulators. (pump runs ok on other vehicle)
No electric fuel pump on this vehicle so, temporary plumbed in pump to supply HP pump fuel under pressure but made no difference either, checked cam and crank timing and both cams also properly timed up

U1118 No comms with body control module.
P1693 Start up request from engine ecu
U2001 Control unit activation
Cant recall code but main relay fault. (Where is it located ??)
Can clear these codes and it will run and drive ok but cuts out at idle.... Any help welcome as im running out of ideas, time and money !!
