The car is my daughter's 2009 Fiat 500 Lounge. Unfortunately, whilst trying to remove a very stuck spark plug lead I inadvertently snapped off the connector on the side of an injector.
I've read up as much as I can on what's involved in the replacement, but would like some advice on the best way forward. From what I can make out I can either replace the single injector with a new or secondhand one, or maybe buy a complete secondhand rail including all four injectors, wiring etc. If an affordable single one, would there be quality or compatibility issues with the existing ones?
I'm anticipating that the (probably original) injectors might be a bit stuck. Also, do I need to replace the upper and lower seals?
Once fixed, does anything need to be reset on the dashboard? At the moment it's showing the engine symbol.
Anything I've not thought of, or top tips?
Many thanks.
