Anyone with a 500C have the windblocker that fits over the rear seats? I'm just wondering how effective it is (I know how expensive it is!). As the weather starts to improve I'm looking forward to some top-down motoring but I had the roof down today and the wind played havoc with some papers I was silly enough to have on the back seat, I don't think anything left the confines of the car...

Hi
I purchased one from Gumtree, got it for a really good price . To be fair not sure if makes that much difference

NOT EFFECTIVE at all. With the roof down it does not protrude above it so is no more use than the roof. We really need one to go behind the front seats and cover the back like the audi a4 ones. I have one, they look good but of no use as a deflector.

Yup, I remember doing lots of research on the windshield when I first got my 500C, and the consensus on the Internet seems to be "don't bother, it's pointless".

OK, thanks people - you've conviced me. If it was realistically priced I'd still get one but given the general consensus of uselessness I'll save my money. I just fitted a set of rear mudflaps which also seem to be regarded a pretty useless but I like the look and at least they were more reasonably priced.:).

The most useful thing about the windshield is that it stops back seat passengers putting stuff on the back shelf that could damage the screen when the roof retracts.
