500 500 1.2 Lounge

Nice car and hope the project goes well I have been paying attention to the other posts. MY other half is awaiting collection of her 1.2 lounge in BNW at the end of the month and she can't wait.

My latest toy, a bit different to my V6 3.0l Jag, but it saves me over £200 a month in petrol!

BTW the third pic is a bit of a work in progress, I have a thread in the 500 forum as a work log..

I went to a 500 from a VW Phaeton... It's great saving so much £££ and realising I'm having more fun to boot.
£400+ year road tax vs nil. 26mpg vs 50. Don't know why I didn't see the light sooner. And I only bought the 500 as a stop gap but now the little fella has really got to me. Can't see me swapping for quite a while.

Thanks for the comments guys, I just noticed how dirty the poor thing is in the second pic! (The car that is, not the wife!) In my defence, I picked it up on a Thursday night, drove to work the next day and then we set off for a short break in Cornwall in the early hours of Saturday....

When I went over to a 500 TA from a Merc. C Class Sport it put the fun back into driving. Now I have progressed to an A500 the fun factor is off the scale.
