I was wondering if anybody on this forum has done any off roading an greenlaning because im lookin into buying a little cheap run around 4x4 cause im gonna need a 2nd car because the mrs will be passing her test shortly so she will be driving round in the 08 reg t-jet:eek:
What 4x4 do i go far?
A suzuki sj413
suzuki vitera
or something newer like the jimny i dont want to be spending much more than 2k really
or if theres anyother good little 4x4 my mates buying a freelander:yuck: that will not be goin
g any were far lol
 

This is a sj413 a (mark1 JIMNY)looks a lot more rugged than the new jimnys

Check out the 4x4 run by classic pandas on the forum....

But then again i would say that being a panda fan..If not the SJ is GREAT!!!!
Cheap and i'v seen them wipe the floor with so called other 4x4's....kev

For a cheapy the SJ is the way to go.

Now before the 4x4 panda guys sharpen the knives and aim for my back, the SJs can take bigger tyres, which means that their ground clearance is better.

There is also a range of after market bits to lift the car thus enabling an even bigger tyre to be fitted.

For the cost an SJ is the ideal option.

When you do go green laning do it responsibly, only go on legal open lanes, check for restrictions etc, do not go alone (get stuck whose gonna get you out) and do NOT stray off the byways
